Make a day of Cotehele

Cotehele is one of the Tamar Valley’s special places: a Tudor house with medieval roots, gardens, a historic quay and a mill, cared for by the National Trust. In St Dominick, near Saltash, it makes a lovely starting point for a day in this corner of Cornwall.

The Who’d Have Thought It Inn is in nearby St Dominick too. Whether you’re making a day of the estate or spending a few days exploring the valley, come and settle in at our country bar, restaurant or conservatory. There’s a beer garden and a large car park at the pub.

The Edgcumbe connection

Cotehele’s Edgcumbe story runs through this landscape and through our own pub’s history. Today, Dan & Viki’s Whod is a sister pub to The Edgcumbe Arms at Cremyll, beside Mount Edgcumbe, and The Three Horseshoes at Cowley, Exeter.
